+Paul Fennell – Irish tyro and goalkeeper extraordinaire
Alex Hannah – Another member of our Celtic League, the Welsh
right-back dynamo and former MMA fighter.
John Grimsdale – A rock in the centre of defence, vary rarely do you
see him get ruffled.
Peter
“Speddo” Speddings – Central defender
who has the knack of being in the right place at the right time. And that has also occasionally applied at the
other end of the pitch too.
Chris Maundrell – Versatile defender (i.e. equally incompetent
wherever I play), who somehow seems to have picked up the nickname “Mouthy”
simply because instructions given on the home pitch have been rumoured to have
been heard in Sutton…
Alan “AJ” Johnston – Another Celt, this time from North of the border,
full of running on the right side of midfield and often full of choice comments
about his own performance.
Nick
“Radders” Radford – The maestro,
pulling the strings in midfield and linking front and back seamlessly (and I
don’t just say that because he gives me a lift to away games!)
Mike Dawson – The Duracell bunny of the team, seemingly able to
cover every inch of the pitch and still be running at the end of the match,
assuming his hamstring hasn’t gone.
Akira Swami – An energetic forward who brings the average age of
the squad down significantly.
Qaz
Khokhar – Our very own Fernando
Torres, often up front, not on the score sheet as often as he’d hope though.
Andrew Gray – The gymnast and another young forward able to run
all day
Martin Burke – A defender who few strikers get close to for fear
of losing their heads from one of his 16s
Joe Hendry – Our second Scot can fit in in defence or midfield
quite comfortably, and lets his feet do the talking.
Bob Stephenson – The fox in the box.
Trevor Marsh – Wingman!
